I also appreciate the simple glass jar. These candles are slow burning. They burn for approx 45-50 hours. Red Currant smells fresh and fruity with a nice tang to it. All of the fragrances are really unique. My personal favorites include: Red Currant, Soku Lime, Rain and Vanilla Grapfruit. The presentation makes a great hostess gift. More Reviews
